This Training Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into between Lunar K9 (“Trainer”) and the dog owner (“Owner”) for participation in a Lunar K9 training program.

By enrolling in a training program, the Owner agrees to the following terms and conditions.

1. Program Description

The Premium Puppy Raise & Train / Board & Train Program is an immersive training program in which the Owner’s dog stays with the Trainer for a structured training period.

The standard program length is approximately six (6) weeks, though timelines may vary depending on the dog’s progress and individual needs.

Training focuses on developing:

• obedience

• calm behavior

• proper socialization

• clear communication between dog and owner

2. Owner Responsibilities

Owner agrees to:

• Provide accurate information regarding the dog’s health, behavior, and history.

• Follow all training guidance provided during the go-home lesson.

• Continue reinforcing training after the program.

Trainer is not responsible for the dog’s behavior if the Owner does not maintain the training methods provided.

3. Health Requirements

All dogs entering a Lunar K9 training program must:

• Be current on vaccinations including Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella

• Be free from contagious illness

• Be on flea and tick prevention

Owner must disclose any known medical conditions, injuries, or medications.

Trainer reserves the right to refuse or discontinue training for dogs with health conditions that may affect safety.

4. Veterinary Care Authorization

In the event that the dog becomes ill or injured during the training program, the Trainer is authorized to seek veterinary care if the Owner cannot be reached.

Owner agrees to be responsible for all veterinary expenses incurred.

Trainer will make reasonable efforts to contact the Owner prior to seeking treatment unless immediate medical care is required.

5. Training Risks

Owner understands that working with dogs involves inherent risks including, but not limited to:

• scratches

• bites

• behavioral stress

• interactions with other animals

Owner agrees that Lunar K9 is not responsible for injuries resulting from normal training activities.

6. No Guaranteed Results

While Lunar K9 strives to achieve the best possible results for every dog, Owner acknowledges that:

• training results vary depending on the dog

• continued results depend on Owner consistency

Trainer does not guarantee specific behavioral outcomes.

7. Payment Policy

Payment terms will be outlined during program enrollment.

Unless otherwise stated:

• A deposit may be required to reserve a training spot

• Deposits are non-refundable

• Full payment must be completed according to the agreed payment schedule

8. Drop-Off and Pick-Up

Owner agrees to:

• Drop off the dog at the agreed time and location

• Pick up the dog promptly at the scheduled completion of the program

Failure to pick up the dog without communication may result in additional boarding fees.

9. Abandoned Dog Policy

Dogs not picked up within 7 days of program completion without communication from the Owner may be considered abandoned.

Trainer reserves the right to surrender abandoned dogs to a shelter or rescue organization.

10. Photo and Video Release

Owner grants Lunar K9 permission to use photos or videos of the dog for:

• training documentation

• educational purposes

• website or social media content

No personal identifying information will be shared without permission.

11. Limitation of Liability

Owner agrees to release and hold harmless Lunar K9 and its representatives from any liability related to:

• injuries

• damages

• behavioral incidents involving the dog

except in cases of gross negligence.

12. Agreement to Terms

By enrolling in a Lunar K9 training program, the Owner acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to the terms of this Training Agreement.
